On cold winter Monday we brought our blankets and cushions to the classroom. Our teacher was reading a book while we were lying and listening to it. It was the last day during which we worked with the method "Plot from the Mug". After reading each of us chose one card from each mug and now we're going to create our own stories with the chosen words. The results coming soon. CAN'T WAIT!

'Plot from the mug' - an activating method

Every week we read a different book 

Then we write some notes under the following headings:

PLOT, PLACE, CHARACTERS, COMMON WORDS

and put all of them into a mug. 

In the end, each student's going to choose one card from each mug and to write his/her own story.

Last time we worked on a project about penguins. We were divided into three groups. The first two groups had to find some information connected with the topic, the last one was to prepare a poster.

Recently we've started the series of 'Reading-Aloud' Days. We've just read about one of Mr Bean's funny adventures when Mr Bean breaks his favourite mug with the Queen's picture on it and goes to find a new one... in Buckingham Palace!

After reading we did a variety of fun activites like role playing or a project work about a famous palace.
